Professor John F. Dewey FRS joins GWPF Academic Advisory Council

The Global Warming Policy Foundation is pleased to announce that Professor John Dewey FRS has joined the GWPF’s Academic Advisory Council.

John Dewey (Oxford University) is an eminent geologist who has made outstanding contributions to plate tectonics and the understanding of the process of mountain building. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and has received numerous medals and awards, notably the Wollaston Medal of the Geological Society of London and the Penrose Medal of the Geological Society of America.

The GWPF Academic Advisory Council is composed of scientists, economists and other experts who provide the GWPF with timely scientific, economic and policy advice. It reviews and evaluates new GWPF reports, explores future research projects and makes recommendations on issues related to climate and energy research and policy.
