new director GWPF
new director GWPF

The Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) is looking for a new director and welcomes applicants for this role.

Job Title: Director, Global Warming Policy Foundation

Reports To: Board of Trustees

The Global Warming Policy Foundation is a non-partisan think tank and a registered educational charity that focuses on climate and energy policy.

The Board of Trustees wish to thank Dr. Benny Peiser, the founding Director, for managing the charity to its current prominent position.  The late Lord Lawson and Benny founded the charity in 2009.  Benny is however shortly to retire, and the Board is now looking for a new Director to increase further the charity’s impact on public debate.  The new Director will provide strategic direction and promote the growth and effectiveness of the GWPF.

The GWPF is deeply concerned about the impact of climate and Net Zero policies: that they may be doing more harm than good, both to the world’s poorest people and the environment. Our aim is to provide robust and reliable analysis of climate and energy issues, based on rigorous research, for policymakers and the general public.

We expect our new Director to have a deep understanding of climate and energy policies and experience in the policy-making and research sector.

The ideal candidate will make significant contributions to fundraising efforts, manage the GWPF team, and communicate with policy makers and news media.

We anticipate our new Director will dedicate their time to the development and publication of new reports, developing relationships with current and potential donors, and managing the GWPF’s internal business.
